Tarot and Plant Magic
Welcome to Season 10 of Every Day Tarot!
This season, I’m exploring the rich, magical intersections between tarot and witchcraft.
What we explore in this episode:
How to weave plant magic into your tarot rituals using herbs, flowers, and seasonal elements
A step-by-step walk-through of Camille’s Cancer New Moon altar and spellwork
Practical and sensory ways to incorporate plants into your daily practice, from flower baths and botanical decks to herb-infused self-care
There’s a certain kind of peace that settles in when your hands are touching the earth and your tarot cards are on your altar. It’s quiet and potent magic. It reminds you that your practice doesn’t have to be separate from the natural world. In fact, it might be urging you to come back to it.
In this episode, I want to share a bit about how tarot and plant magic intertwine in my life—and how you might begin to explore this soft, grounded connection for yourself.
Pictures from the decks I talked about today:
Tarot is a Living Practice
We often think of tarot as a tool for guidance, self-reflection, and insight—and it is all of those things. But it’s also something more subtle. It’s a conversation. A ritual. A doorway.
Tarot doesn’t have to live only on your desk or in your journal. It can be part of your garden, your bath, your tea ritual. And when we invite the wisdom of plants into that conversation, something shifts. We drop deeper into the body. We awaken the senses. We remember that divination doesn’t just happen in the mind—it happens in our hands, in our breath, in our relationship with the earth.

Today's Tarot Pull:
To close my ritual, I pulled the Ten of Pentacles from the Ophidia Rosa Tarot. A perfect message. This card, rich in grounded, earthy energy, is a reminder that completion doesn’t mean perfection. It means rootedness. Wholeness. A sense of peace in your body and your home.
The card art was floral, full, warm. It echoed the season. And it reminded me that tending to our lives is itself a form of magic. That our legacy is not just what we do, but what we cultivate.
Reflective prompts on this card:
What does “legacy” mean to me beyond wealth or tradition?
Where in my life do I already feel grounded, supported, and held?
How can I honor the abundance I already have while staying open to more?
